Crew Vehicle Tracking App

Hughes has had the capabilities to share GPS tracking information with clients for years, however an issue we faced was getting this tracking information to crew members as we did not obtain their personal mobile numbers to send the GPS link to.

Our dedicated crew mobile app allows crew members to download the app at their discretion and track their vehicle, either to or from the airport by simply entering their Surname and the flight number they are travelling on.

We do not require any personal information and we have no record of crew members mobile numbers, first names or other data.

Crew members can also instantly chat with our 24/7 call centre team via the app or call their chauffeur directly using masked number encryption – keeping theirs and the chauffeurs’ numbers private.

  • What vehicle types will our crew be serviced with?

    Hughes operates all vehicle types, from sedans to large coaches. Our executive sedans include Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, Genesis and Holden Caprice. We have a large fleet of premium sedans, including BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S Class and Audi A8, meaning your crew are often travelling in the most premium comfort in ground transport. with Mercedes V-Class as our people mover option and a range of buses including Mercedes Sprinter for larger movements.

  • How will our crew track their vehicle?

    The Hughes Crew Tracking App, available on iOS and Android, allows crew to login using their surname or crew ID and matches their flight number to identify a corresponding record in our system. The system will then display the live tracking link up to 30 minutes prior to the designated pickup time. Crew are able to phone the chauffeur should they have any queries, using an encrypted number, ensuring privacy for both the crew member and chauffeur.

  • How does Hughes track flights to accommodate early and delayed arrivals?

    Our centralised Fleet Control Centre is constantly tracking flights using state-of-the-art robotics infrastructure, that is continuously scanning online flight data. This information is fed into our live dispatch system and ensures our chauffeurs are up to date with the latest flight movements and able to accommodate early or delayed flight arrivals to mitigate any disruption to crew transport.
